December 09 – 1,000 Scottish Voters Survey
An opinion poll conducted by ORB amongst 1,000 Scottish voters for the Scottish Conservative party has found that two in three voters think that the Conservatives will win the General Election next year.
Other notable findings from the survey include:
Three in four (74%) agree that the SNP stand up for Scotland but are ineffective when it comes to Westminster.
63% of Scottish voters agree that Alex Salmond should focus on Scottish affairs rather than international affairs.
Amongst those who have an opinion of David Cameron 52% have a favourable view of the Conservative Leader.
When asked to consider which of the main parties the phrase ‘Standing up for Britain’ is most applicable to 39% of Scottish voters said the Conservative Party. This was followed by Labour with 33%, Lib Dems (6%) and SNP (6%).
