At ORB, we are constantly seeking to improve and innovate the service and research techniques we offer every client.
ORB have developed a broadcast research tool, the STAR System of Testing Audience Reactions, which is the most advanced system of its type. This tool measures audience reactions in real time to audio and video material. It is a particularly useful tool in the context of focus groups, live debates, TV and radio programmes.
In order to add an extra dimension to the ORB service, since September 2002 ORB have offered our clients message development, research-led campaigning and political consultancy. This has enabled them to benefit from expertise in these areas, resulting in analysis which is influential for both current and future PR and communications campaigns.
We have also entered into a partnership with The Virtuous Circle Ltd, a management consultancy specialising in Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) to enable us to provide expertise in this growing area of research.
As a matter of course with respondent permission, ORB film all focus groups (irrespective of whether or not they are held in a viewing studio) and provide clients with copies of the film (either on VHS or CD-ROM). We also provide an option that allows clients (within the UK or internationally) to view groups remotely from the convenience of their own office.
