Latest poll by ORB on behalf of BBC Newsnight reveals more people believe David Cameron and the Conservative Party will "make the right cuts in public spending" than Gordon Brown and Labour.
August 2009 - Shopkeepers foresee tobacco display ban aiding black market
Further results released from a survey commissioned by the Tobacco Retailers Association (TRA) show three-quarters (76%) of shopkeepers believing that a tobacco display ban could result in trade being displaced to the black market.
July09 – Home Secretary’s immigration stance at odds with most constituents
A new poll conducted by ORB for Migrationwatch found that 78% of people in the Hull West and Hessle constituency disagree with Alan Johnson’s general attitude towards immigration and UK population growth. Meanwhile 80% believe that he is “out of touch” with people like them on these issues.
June 2009 – Corner shops feeling threatened by tobacco display ban
A survey from ORB commissioned by the Tobacco Retailers Association (TRA) found over three-quarters (77%) of shopkeepers believing that a ban on tobacco displays in their shop could directly threaten the viability of the business.

In a recent ORB survey eight in ten (80%) British adults thought that if the numbers of a type of bird are in decline then we should intervene; with 18 per cent taking the view that we should 'leave it to nature’.

In ORB's recent survey of Suffolk residents a majority preference (60%) for local government to be structured into three unitary authorities was found. Among those respondents who expressed a preference* a three authority option - "Ipswich, the East and West" was favoured.
